In addition, anyone that upgrades their current controller to OS 2.4 will enjoy the same benefit. This is great news for anyone who loves listening to radio stations throughout the world or even the local stations in their own market. I use the TuneIn app on a regular basis from my iPhone and I’m so excited to be able to listen to all of my favorite stations and podcasts through my Control4 audio system at my house.

TuneIn gives you access to over 70,000 radio stations throughout the world, including news, sports, talk radio (oh and of course) MUSIC! It’s great to be able to sort by local radio stations and hear what I’m accustomed to listening to. I can search and find stations anywhere in the world. This feature has entertained me for hours as I have browsed all different regions of the world and learned how different (and sometimes comical) radio is in other places. When I find a hidden gem I just add it to My Favorites and then I can go back and listen to that station any time I want.

My favorite feature, however, is the ability to search for a specific song. The TuneIn interface will search every single radio station for that song, and if the service finds the song I’m searching for (which it always does, because they have 70,000 stations), I can immediately join in on that radio station.

The end of March can’t come soon enough!
